That's it! Winter is here. Since the start of the week, the winter period has really started to be felt.
This Tuesday, November 12, the cold set in in the Gard department. Temperatures quickly dropped, stagnating around 10 degrees.
A taste of what awaits the Gardois until the end of the month, because the thermometer should not exceed 7 degrees by mid-November.
Alongside a slight cold spell which is gradually setting in and which is expected to last, rainy episodes are also forecast.
According to Météo Languedoc, rain will appear in the Nîmes region this Tuesday afternoon. The few drops should strengthen in the evening, reaching the Cévennes and losing intensity by Wednesday noon.
This temporary rainy episode will give way to windy moments, as well as the first snowflakes in the most mountainous areas of the territory.
Snow is already forecast on Mont-Aigoual.
