Impressive seizure of weapons and drugs during a search in Portes-lès-Valence

A simple search in a drug case led to an impressive seizure by the police. The police, who went to the home of a 41-year-old man for an investigation related to drug activities, got their hands on a veritable arsenal and a large stock of illicit substances.

A substantial cache of weapons

Authorities discovered no less than 40 firearms in the individual's home. As reported by Bleu, the detail of the weapons seized is impressive: 27 long guns, 12 handguns, and even a submachine gun were among the equipment stored. This unusual quantity of weaponry raises many questions about the exact nature of the activities of this man, known until now for a minor role in drug trafficking.

Drug seizures: cannabis, ecstasy, MDMA, cocaine and heroin

In addition to the arsenal, a significant quantity of drugs was discovered in the man's residence. The police identified 5.5 kilos of herbal cannabis, 20 cannabis plants, 1.2 kilos of cannabis resin, 280 ecstasy tablets and more than 100 grams of MDMA. Quantities of cocaine and heroin were also seized, highlighting the extent of the illegal activities in which the individual appeared to be engaged.

Suspect in police custody admits to drug trafficking

During his interrogation, the suspect admitted his involvement in the sale of drugs. Brought before the Valencia public prosecutor's office the same morning, he was placed in pre-trial detention pending his immediate appearance. The case, which takes a more serious turn with the seizure of weapons, could give rise to additional investigations to determine whether these activities were isolated or whether other accomplices or networks could be involved.
