Saturday, the charred body of a woman was found in a bush, along a railway track, rue de Steinbourg, in the neighborhood Cronenbourghas Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin)according to information from DNAconfirmed by News Strasbourg.

Shortly before, firefighters were called to a fire near the same railway line.

An open investigation

At this stage of the investigation, we do not know the profile of the victim. We also don’t know if a track is favored.

« Investigations are underway“, indicates a police source.

“I always park my car in the area. Saturday at 2 p.m., when I came to pick her up, I saw two fire trucks and two police cars, [lesquelles] blocked access,” says Elvire, a witness to the scene.

“There were tapes everywhere and white panels that hid [le corps de la victime]it was too weird,” adds the young woman.
