Weather: start of the day with clearings

This memorial day begins with very pleasant weather. Very large clearings are present in the early hours of the day then the clouds return over the hours to the heights.

With the help of heat, the diurnal evolution is fueled. So at midday, the interior of the department is under the clouds. The coastal strips of the north and southwest but also the summits benefit from the sun. In the afternoon, showers, often light, occur on the Eastern Plains, the northern and northwest slopes for example. The regions of Saint-Pierre and Sainte-Suzanne remain sunny. With an altitude wind around 2,000 meters oriented to the southeast, the cloud mass overflows into the sea near Saint-Paul and the Port. The end of the day is characterized by a drying of the air mass.

On the wind side, we find gusts of 50 to 60 km/h from the North-East over the Port region and from the East over the Wild South. We note a regime of breezes elsewhere.

The South-South-West swell present in the West and South subsides around 1 meter 50. The trade wind swell remains close to 1 meter 50. The sea is rough.
