A holiday since the law of October 24, 1922, November 11 has become, for many French people, an opportunity to do their shopping. So where can they go in and Île-de- this Monday?

While the November 11 ceremonies commemorate the memory of those who “died for France,” this day, which became a public holiday with the law of October 24, 1922, allows some people to spend part of their day in stores. In Paris and Île-de-France, here is the list of shopping centers and department stores open this Monday.

Department stores

Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Haussmann and La Samaritaine, these three “great classics” of shopping open their doors to visitors on this public holiday. Thus, the first two will welcome customers from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the third from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Please note that the other Galeries Lafayette and Printemps stores will have different hours this Monday. The Galeries Lafayette on the Champs Elysées will still be open until 9 p.m. while Printemps Nation will close at 7 p.m.

Elsewhere in the capital, the Bon Marché Rive Gauche will be open from 10 a.m. to 7:45 p.m., as will the BHV Marais – which has just unveiled its Christmas lights – which will be open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Parisian shopping centers

Fashion addicts and others will be delighted to learn that they can also count on Westfield Forum des Halles, open until 8:30 p.m.

Beaugrenelle, Ateliers Gaîté, Italy Deux and Bercy Village will all be in operation until 8 p.m.

The Carrousel du Louvre, Passage du Havre, Passy Plaza and the Palais des Congrès shops will be open until 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively.

Shopping centers in Île-de-France

In Île-de-France, the curious will also have the choice among several establishments. For luxury fashion enthusiasts, La Vallée Village in Seine-et- (77) offers appointments until 8 p.m. Just like the Val d'Europe shopping center open between 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Still in the department, residents will be able to wander around Bay 1 until 8:00 p.m. and Bay 2 until 7:00 p.m.

In (78), in Essonne (91), in Hauts-de-Seine (92) or in Seine-Saint-Denis (93), in Val-de-Marne (94) and Val d' Oise (95), there is no shortage of stores open this Monday, November 11 either.

Those who wish to spend a day shopping can spend their time at Westfield Vélizy 2 (78), Evry 2 (91), Belle Epine (94) or Quai des Marques (95) which will close at 8:00 p.m. Visitors to the Qwartz in Villeneuve-la-Garenne (92) will have until 8:30 p.m. to walk around.
