Since the beginning of the summer, the three directors of the film Laurent in the wind were scouting in the Hautes-Alpes. Anton Balekdjian, Matteo Eustachon and Léo Couture surveyed the locations, both for elements for the characters of their feature film and for the sets. Research supported by the Hautes-Alpes Development Agency and its filming reception office. In a press release, the latter specifies having helped with the “search for sets, logistical preparation, contact with local authorities, search for extras, technicians and service providers”.
With Béatrice Dalle and Djanis Bouzyani
Once these elements of the film have been recorded, it is now time for the start of filming in Embrunais and Serre-Ponçon. This dramatic comedy, produced by Mabel films, features Béatrice Dalle ( 37°2 in the morning having earned her a César for best actress in 1987), Baptiste Perusat and Djanis Bouzyani in the title role ( You deserve a love , I love America ). The synopsis? “Laurent, 28, finds refuge in a ski resort in the fall. There he meets the locals and bonds with them in unexpected ways. When winter comes, Laurent has changed and can no longer imagine leaving them,” explains the Development Agency.
The filming of the feature film Laurent in the wind supported by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and the National Cinema Center (CNC), must be completed by the end of December.
