The 23rd edition of the Theater for All Ages festival will take place in 31 towns in Finistère from November 26 to December 21. Initiated by Très Tôt Théâtre, this annual event puts the spotlight on creation for young audiences by offering a wide range of shows: theater, dance, puppets, circus, object theater and stories, accessible from a very young age. “We must recognize the territorial dynamics of this festival which offers, once again this year, a daring program. The subsidy of €365,000 over three years that we pay to Très Tôt Théâtre is a guarantee of our support,” underlines Elisabeth Guillerm, vice-president of the departmental council.

Regional artists in the spotlight

For this edition, the festival continues to grow by expanding to new towns such as Combrit, La Forêt-Fouesnant, Douarnenez, Moëlan-sur-Mer, and Morlaix. With an ambitious program: “15 shows, including 12 creations, 130 school and general public performances throughout Finistère and more than 20,000 show seats,” explains Amélie Du Payrat, director of Très Tôt Théâtre.

Regional artists will be in the spotlight, such as the company Comme l'air, which will perform in seven locations of the festival with its creation “The perfume of my memories”, recently tested with schoolchildren during a residency at L' Athéna in Ergué-Gabéric and played in May in Trégunc. The festival will also have an international dimension with the German company Florschütz Döhnert, which will present its object theater “La nuit minus le quart” in seven other rooms in the department.
