New Popular Front
The deputy of La France insoumise, Adrien Quatennens, subject of tensions within the movement and the New Popular Front due to his conviction for domestic violence, announced that he was withdrawing his candidacy in the North. That of the antifa registered S Raphaël Arnault, parachuted by LFI into Vaucluse, is making waves. Another controversy, the radical left movement refused to invest several historical figures critical of the line of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, such as Danielle Simonnet, Raquel Garrido and Alexis Corbière, triggering the disapproval of socialists and ecologists. Mélenchon, who said he felt “capable” of being Prime Minister, assured that he would not impose himself: “If you think that I should not be Prime Minister, I will not be,” declared Sunday on France 3 the leader of the Insoumis.

The Republicans
It’s a torn family going into the countryside. After his revolt, Éric Ciotti, the president of the Republicans, whose ousting was invalidated by the courts, announced that “the gathering of the rights”, that is to say its alliance with the National Rally, will present “at least 62 candidates.” He specified that other candidates will join them later.

National gathering
The RN is given at the top of our Cluster17 survey-Point, with 29.5% of the votes, just one point more than the new Popular Front. Marine Le Pen is representing herself in the 11th constituency of Pas-de-Calais, which includes her stronghold of Hénin-Beaumont. This time, she will not face the national secretary of EELV Marine Tondelier, who has decided to only be the deputy of Samira Laal, former head of the local PS section.
Marie-Caroline Le Pen, sister of Marine Le Pen, announced on X that she will run as a candidate for the National Rally in the fourth constituency of Sarthe. During the European elections of June 9, the RN dominated throughout Sarthe with 35.87% of the votes, surpassing the list of the majority and that of the PS-Place publique. In 2022, the fourth constituency of Sarthe almost tilted in favor of the RN during the legislative elections.
Renaissance
In total, 24 of the 35 ministers in the Attal government are candidates, starting with the Prime Minister in Hauts-de-Seine. Just like Stéphane Séjourné, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary General of Renaissance, who recovers the constituency of Emmanuel Pellerin.
The outgoing presidential majority should not present a candidate in around twenty constituencies held by elected officials from the right or left or from the centrist Liot group, to block the far right. According to the lists of nominated candidates published by the three parties (Renaissance, Horizons, MoDem) on Sunday evening, the majority will not present any in the constituencies of outgoing LR deputies Michèle Tabarot, Marie-Christine Dalloz, Virginie Duby-Muller, Émilie Bonnivard, Nicolas Forissier and Julien Dive.

Reconquest!
The far-right Reconquest movement will only present candidates in 330 constituencies out of 577 to favor “the architects of national unity” on the right, its president Éric Zemmour announced on X on Sunday evening.
“Reconquête therefore supports Éric Ciotti, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, (LR MP) Christelle D’Intorni and Guilhem Carayon”, the president of the Young Republicans, indicated Éric Zemmour who regrets that the National Rally refused “a true national union. “We would have liked to campaign in a true National Union, but the National Rally has repeatedly refused our proposal,” he lamented.
Not elected in the European elections, Jean Messiha, far-right polemicist and figure of the Reconquête! party, announced his candidacy for the legislative elections in the 6th constituency of Hauts-de-Seine.
