The weather for November 11 in Charente-Maritime, between sun and clouds

On this Armistice Day, the weather will most often be divided between clouds and clearings. Indeed, there will be numerous clearings as soon as the sun rises over a well-defined area including La Saintonge, Rochefortais, the south of the Rochelaise region and Basse Saintonge as well as the Arvert peninsula during the whole of in the morning, elsewhere the sky will be cloudy with a few rare appearances of the sun.

Then, from 10-11 a.m., the sky will gradually open up from the north and it will become blue again almost everywhere in our department during midday.

In the afternoon, the clouds will return through Aunis then across the entire department from 2 p.m. Which will lead us to large clearings for the south of the department, and less generous clearings for the north of the department.

In the evening, same type of weather. Note the wind which blows more and more moderately from the north-east up to 40km/h in the afternoon on the coast.

Thermometer-wise, it’s still mild, especially in the morning. I predict 08°C in Beurlay, 09°C in and Saujon, 10°C in Royan and Jonzac, 11°C on the Islands for minimums. Maximum temperatures will rise to 12°C in Vinax, 13°C in Tonnay-Boutonne and Surgeres, 14°C in Les Mathes and Cozes.
