A teenager was killed after being shot in Scarborough on Saturday, police say. The shooting happened at 1:49 p.m., they say.

It happened near the intersection of Glendower Circuit and Birchmount Road, reads a social media post from the official Toronto Police Service account.

According to this publication, a teenager went to the hospital himself. The police went there and found that he was suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The homicide unit has opened an investigation, police confirm.

They are looking for two suspects. One is described as a black man, wearing a red hat, red shirt and beige shorts. The other is described as a black man wearing a black hoodie.
