Local economic development organizations and Lanaudière Économique are very pleased to announce that two Lanaudière businesses shined on June 12 at the 26th Gala des Grands Prix Desjardins du Défi OSEntreprendre, which celebrated its national winners. These people – pupils, students, school stakeholders and entrepreneurs from across Quebec – were selected from the 75,215 registered!

INFLO Technique inc. obtains 1st prize in the Operation, transformation, production category of the Business Creation section. An entrepreneurial team that combines expertise, quality and complementarity to create and manufacture tailor-made valves for the military and marine, energy and tailor-made engineering sectors. A Quebec innovation that promotes impact on the local economy while targeting a niche market with high potential.

Greater Brandon Solidarity Health Coop obtains 2nd prize in the Social Economy category of the Business Creation Section. An ambitious approach to create an integrated health care environment and an attractive work environment for doctors and their teams to meet a pressing need of an aging population. An inspiring example of a collective project and community mobilization.

About the OSEntreprendre Challenge

The OSEntreprendre Challenge is a major Quebec movement that promotes the entrepreneurial initiatives of more than 57,000 people annually: young people from preschool to university supported by their school stakeholders as well as entrepreneurs. It is deployed and takes root at the local, regional and national levels. For its implementation, more than 300 leaders are mobilizing in the 17 regions of Quebec to highlight projects from their community.
