This major event, which is dedicated to French manufacturing, brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors are expected until tomorrow, November 11 at the Parc des Expositions in . And this year Mayotte is represented there for the very first time.

And we could even say that Mayotte is very proudly represented there by 3 artisans who stand out in the village of craftsmanship organized by CMA and to highlight savoir-artisanal work from the French regions.

LOA Cosmetics, young company specializing in the creation of natural cosmetics from raw materials from the island,

TouchDubois who works with local wood to make pens, jewelry, key rings and various handicraft objects.

Hazi Local Crafts which focuses on making hand-embroidered household linen, a strong symbol of the island's cultural heritage, passed down from generation to generation.

The participation of Mahorean artisans at the MIF Show is a first. This represents a significant opportunity to promote their creations and raise awareness of authenticity of Mahorese crafts on the national scene. By exhibiting their works at the MIF Salon, these artisans aspire to create links with other professionals and expand their network, while drawing attention to the artisanal identity of Mayotte.

The trip was organized by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts with the support of the Departmental Council of Mayotte in order to offer artisans the opportunity, no only to sell, but also to exchange ideas and techniques with other French creators, thus promoting mutual enrichment.
