This walking tour through the red zone aims to retrace the tragic end of an agricultural village, ravaged by the two world wars. Between 1914 and 1940, hundreds of men and women, civil or military, French or foreign, combined their destiny with this Meuse locality that the 20th century caused to disappear.

However, its orientation and scale differ from the previous building. It takes the shape of a cross, pierced with large side windows, supporting stained glass windows produced by the Grüber workshops. Every year, after Saint Gilles (patron of the commune), a ceremony and an office are held in the chapel, in memory of the ancient village of Bezonvaux.
