Calm about the sporting outcome of the meeting – 59% predict a victory for , 34% a draw and only 4% a victory for Israel – the French are also calm about the organization of this high-risk meeting , Thursday November 14 (8:45 p.m.) at the Stade de France as part of the League of Nations: 59% do not fear that this match will “import the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to France”, 64% have confidence in public authorities to ensure match security and 74% think that it should not take place behind closed doors but with the public (even if it means having a reduced capacity).

Logically, therefore, they validate the strong choices made by the FFF, whether it is playing this match in Saint-Denis rather than in the provinces (64%) or not relocating it abroad (61%). They are also divided on the opportunity to take advantage of this match to convey messages for the ceasefire: 44% of French people and 55% of football fans want this match to be an opportunity for the team of France or the public to send messages in favor of the ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.

On the other hand, the French are clearly opposed to boycott or exclusion : only 17% of French people and 18% of football fans will boycott the match for political reasons and 61% of French people are not in favor of countries involved in conflicts being excluded from international competitions.
