A child, who was thrown out of a window on October 27, died this Saturday, November 9. Hospitalized at the mother-child hospital in Bron, in the Rhône, he had been brain dead for 48 hours, reveals Dauphiné Libéré.
“We hoped until the end…”, slips the mother of the 8-year-old boy to our colleagues. The tragedy took place in the presence of his two big sisters and his big brother. The parents had gone shopping.
Big brother is the main suspect
The child fell heavily onto the terrace of the ground floor apartment. When they arrived on site, the gendarmes quickly suspected the eldest of the family, aged 26, of having thrown his younger brother into the void.
The big brother is still hospitalized in a psychiatric ward. An investigation is opened for attempted homicide, carried out by the Grenoble public prosecutor's office.
