The name of the alternate candidate for the Republican right in the 3rd district has been revealed.

The Les Républicains candidacy is complete. Two days after taking a position, the mayor of Villeneuve-sur-Lot Guillaume Lepers lifted the veil on who will be his deputy if he is elected on July 7 as deputy for the 3rd constituency of Lot-et-Garonne.

It is Emeline Rey who will therefore be alongside Guillaume Lepers for these legislative elections.
Aged 36, she is an osteopath in Laroque-Timbaut and a winegrower in Dondas. She entered the Saint-Jacques hemicycle a few months ago after the resignation of Béatrice Giraud, departmental councilor of Pays de Serres alongside Arnaud Devilliers.

“He is the man for the job. We have the right to be defended by a competent, disinterested deputy who is truly concerned about our future,” Roquentine said in a press release. “As part of his mandate, Guillaume Lepers demonstrates every day his commitment to our territory. The dynamic he drives already radiates well beyond Greater Villeneuvois. With a deputy like him, we would finally be listened to and supported.”

The mayor of Villeneuve had made it known, during his announcement, that he was looking for a profile “capable of giving him the pulse of the field”. And it was among the ranks of the opposition group “100% Lot-et-Garonne” that he found “the ideal partner”.
