BAGNOLS-SUR-CEZE: the MLJ Gard rhodanien Uzège announces the integration of the Collective into its board of directors

It was on the occasion of its traditional general assembly which was held this Thursday, June 13 at the Domaine du Val de Cèze, that the Local Youth Mission Gard rhodanien Uzège recorded the entry of the Collective onto its board of directors. “It’s a win-win for our two entities.“, rejoiced Vincent Champetier, president of the Collective.

Objectives achieved

Like every year, the MLJ invited its various partners to take stock of its objectives. “We have achieved our objectives, in particular those falling within the framework of the Youth Engagement Contract (CEJ), Mobility and those set by the State“, draw up Sébastien Bayart and Frédéric Combernous, respectively director and president of the MLJ Gard rhodanien Uzège.

A traveling truck launched for September

It’s official, we announced in a previous article, the MLJ will have a traveling truck next September. “The objective of this MLJ Moov truck is to go towards… towards young people, parents or professionals, it is the showcase of the MLJ which travels“, specifies Frédéric Combernous.

A poster to raise awareness, in partnership with young people from Gérard Philippe college

The general assembly also allowed young people to present a project carried out with young middle school students from the Gérard Philippe establishment. “We created an innovation project workshop, bringing together six young people, with the aim of putting young people monitored by the Local Mission into action. We then brainstormed and voted for the subject that spoke most to young people: harassment. From there, the young people thought about a way to communicate, to raise awareness and denounce the impact of the harassment suffered in college courses. It turns out that students from Gérard Philippe college were working on a project denouncing harassment. In partnership with the establishment, a beautiful poster was produced. The objective now would be to make it itinerant“, explains Siham Oualla, professional integration advisor, on the CEJ system at the Local Mission.

A project welcomed by the Solidarity center of Pont-Saint-Esprit, which expressed its wish to duplicate the project, by working on the prevention of addictions.
