During the night of November 3 to 4, 2024, several buildings or vehicles in Vatan were damaged with spray paint. Meaningless tags or crude drawings had been drawn in the night.
Following complaints, the national gendarmerie managed to identify the perpetrators of this damage. Two men, a minor and an adult, were identified as being the authors of both these scribbles and a theft committed in a shed in the La Paterne sector where the damage was committed. It was there that they found the spray paint with which they committed the damage. They were placed in police custody following their hearings and “they will soon answer before the magistrates of the Châteauroux judicial court for their criminal responsibility”announces the Indre gendarmerie.
“We worked well with the gendarmerie and I think that’s why they were able to be quickly arrested”is satisfied with the mayor of Vatan. The town hall and several individuals filed complaints. “The paint is not that easy to remove”.
