According to the ARC communications unit, “ These false accusations, based on rumors and diverted videos, have no other objective than to undermine our exemplary and peaceful campaign. Despite the regular provocations during our visit to Mbacké on November 6, 2024, our posture remains unshakeable. We strongly condemn any act of violence« .
« The idea that a fight, which occurred near our convoy, could involve us is purely fallacious. Our security system is exclusively responsible for the protection of our teams, in strict compliance with laws and public safety standards.“, supports the ARC.
Who urges his activists and sympathizers “ to remain calm and not give in to provocations. We call on citizens to be vigilant against attempts at disinformation that seek to sow confusion and division. We ask the authorities to open an investigation to determine responsibility for the incidents recorded in Mbacké and to strengthen security measures to ensure a peaceful electoral climate.« .
