A young man is deadduring a road accidentFriday November 9, 2024, at the end of the evening, let us know the firefighters of Touraine.
The tragedy occurred at Benaiswest of Tours. The mobile emergency and resuscitation service (SMUR) went to the scene but the doctors had to note the death of the victim, indicates the departmental fire and rescue service of Indre-et-Loire (SDIS37).
Death of a 24-year-old man in Touraine
The vehicle was traveling on the RD69 road which leads from La Chapelle-sur-Loire to Saint-Paterne-Racan when it appearedhit a wall at the place called Petit Mont.
When firefighters arrived, the driver, a 24-year-old man, was in cardio respiratory arrest and found himself incarcerated, trapped in his car.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the man could not be resuscitated and his death was declared at the scene of the tragedy by the SMUR doctor.
An open investigation
The police were on site. An investigation was opened to determine the causes of the accident.
Fifteen firefighters were mobilized during this intervention.
