After a forced one-year break, the catering program of Yverdon Castle will restart in the spring. The Municipal Council validated Thursday evening a credit of 1.15 million francs intended to preserve the Guards Tower and to secure its roof from a possible fall of tiles.

The encroachment of the scaffolding on the roadway will result in the unidirectional circulation of the “goulet du Casino” for vehicles arriving from the station only. A first option considering a complete closure to individual transport, but not to buses, was angry.

The commission suggested moving the temporary bus stop closer to the theater to limit the movement of people with reduced mobility.
