French team: no collective training for Kylian Mbappé

Once again absent. This Thursday, in Paderborn, where the Blues train at the facilities of the Ligue 2 Bundesliga team, Kylian Mbappé did not appear with the rest of the French squad. Just like Kingsley Coman, whose absence was predictable after his cold snap. The captain of the Blues was once again spared, like last Saturday on the eve of France – Canada.

The next day, Sunday June 9, he did not start the friendly match (0-0), contenting himself with playing around twenty minutes. The reason ? He received a blow to the knee against Luxembourg on June 6 in Metz and the hematoma was slow to heal.

Rabiot continues, Konaté aside

Is it always the same blow that forces him to work in the gym with a physiotherapist from the French staff? The day before, on Wednesday, he trained normally with the Blues for their first at the Home Deluxe Arena.

Finally, Mbappé appeared at 6:32 p.m. but only to go and sit on the sidelines. His appearance aroused the enthusiasm of the 4,000 spectators present. We then saw him standing between Dembélé and Koundé to watch, in sneakers, the end of the opposition while greeting the crowd who chanted his name. He left the field while taking a photo with Benjamin Weber, the former PSG video analyst who now officiates at Paderborn. Very applauded, he greeted the public before returning to the locker room.

Adrien Rabiot was able to complete a new session this Thursday, just like Théo Hernandez who resumed fully after having completed only part of the training the day before. Both men were engaged in all the exercises and oppositions in front of the public. This time, it was Ibrahima Konaté who had the right to a lighter session. The Liverpool defender warmed up normally before continuing, separately, accompanied by Aurélien Tchouaméni who is recovering from a stress fracture in his left foot.
