The citizen consultation has been launched. The Territorial and Rural Balance Pole (PETR) of Briançonnais, Ecrins, Guillestrois-Queyras is experimenting with participatory democracy on the theme of renewable energies. As part of the territorial climate air energy plan, residents of the 36 municipalities in the north of Hautes-Alpes are being contacted. “The objective: to collect citizen visions regarding the territory's energy future, while working on the emergence of sober and virtuous individual and collective behaviors” specifies the PETR, which is accompanied by seven researchers in this approach. The result of this consultation will be brought to the attention of decision-makers, namely local elected officials. “Residents have the feeling that territorial projects are thought out and decided without them and they feel difficulty in positioning themselves” justifies the PETR.
