An ode to multiculturalism. On the occasion of the 23 edition of the “Talent des Cités” competition, rewarding entrepreneurs in working-class neighborhoods, Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to the winners this Wednesday.
“You have no idea how good it feels (…) what you put us through (…) it's a fantastic example of what our country really is. It is not at all a France that lives back to back, that rejects itself (..) What you are demonstrating there is exactly the Republican promise,” assured the President of the Republic during a given speech. on this occasion.
The head of state notably took as an example Khadidja Benyahia, a 23-year-old entrepreneur of Algerian origin, who received the France Télévisions Prize for her company Finition Nette Bâtiment.

“The fight that we must continue to wage, because we are far from having won it, is that of the fight against the subpoena. Don't give up! It is you who make the Republic!”, concluded the French president.
Several winners also shared, on the official X account of the Head of State, an inspiring message of hope for the young generation of entrepreneurs living in working-class neighborhoods.
Among the other winners, Romane Petagna won the Coup de cœur prize for “Romando”, a brand of hand-knitted sweaters and accessories in collaboration with knitting grandmothers.
Originally from Marseille, Wassim Benouis and Yoann Ravel were also rewarded by Radio France for Studavia, which offers an educational guidance platform.
