2024 legislative elections: in Aude, Reconquête has the names of its three candidates in each constituency

Departmental delegate of Eric Zemmour’s party, Fabrice Coffinet confirms this Tuesday, June 11 that Reconquest! will present a candidate in each constituency, as in 2022.

Two days after a European election which earned the list led by Marion Maréchal to gather 5.68% of the votes at the Aude level, the Aude departmental delegate of Reconquête! confirmed that the party founded by Eric Zemmour would indeed be part of the legislative elections. And, as in 2022, in each of the three Aude constituencies. Two years after having collected respectively 4.77%, 4.58% and 4.69% on the 1D (Carcassonne-Lézignan), 2e (Narbonne) and 3e circos (Carcassonne-Castelnaudary-Limoux), Reconquest! will be in the running to confirm the progression – at least in percentage – recorded during the Europeans: “To say that we are very satisfied would be excessive, but we are not unhappy, summarized this Tuesday, June 11, the delegate Fabrice Coffinet. There is real satisfaction at the premises: we are ahead of Les Républicains, even if it’s worth what it’s worth… (8,907 votes in Aude on June 9 against 6,673, Editor’s note).”

A result that Reconquest! therefore hopes to decline on a legislative scale, “by passing the 5% mark, at least”. And it is, as in 2022, Axel Roulliaux who will be in the running on the 1D circo; change, on the other hand, on the 2ewhere Fabrice Coffinet (alternate on 1D in 2022, Editor’s note) will himself be in the running, while Nathalie Marteel will be the candidate in 3e.

If there is an agreement and we are asked to withdraw, we will withdraw

Three names which, specifies the departmental delegate, do not come out of nowhere: “For 15 months, we had started pre-registrations for possible candidates. It is now less complicated to have names than for other parties who were faced with a fait accompli when the election was announced. dissolution”. So now it’s time for the upcoming blitzkrieg. In “going as simple as possible. By redoing everything we did for Europeans, but more accentuated.” With, on a financial level, “the allocations of R39 (article of the electoral code which provides for reimbursements by the State for posters, leaflets and ballots, Editor’s note) for everyone and, for others, if they can, additional funds to be found.”

A campaign which could, however, have ended short if an agreement had finally been reached with the National Rally. One thing is certain this Tuesday, June 11, the alliance will not take place. “These last 72/96 hours have been tense, things are going in all directions. We must not lose sight of the fact that Ms. Le Pen wants to unplug Eric Zemmour. We must know who we are and where we are going. Reconquest! is not intended to be absorbed to become an RN 2.0 or a reservoir of votes” admits Fabrice Coffinet.
