The Grands Lacs Quebec Cinema Festival aims to discover and share the culture and richness of Quebec Cinema.
The Festival offers a selection of varied films, exhibitions, conferences and events that will allow the public to appreciate the richness of the cinematographic and cultural heritage offered by the Province of Quebec.
The organizing team's desire is to welcome the widest possible audience in order to share their passion for Quebec and cinema. The meeting and the exchanges are at the origin of this project and will be at the heart of this event which is an opportunity to mix our French-speaking cultures.
An exceptional jury for the 2024 edition of the Quebec Cinema Festival
For this new edition, we have the honor of welcoming a prestigious jury:
Laurent Lucasactor recognized for his notable roles in films like Harry, a Friend Who Wants You Well and Counter-Investigation,
Olivier Guignarda talented director who has worked on numerous films and TV series such as Un village français and Le repenti and Transferts,
Axelle Laffontactress, screenwriter, director and comedian.
A quality and diversified program for this Quebec Cinema Festival 2024
The festival will offer a varied selection of films, short and feature films, documentaries as well as an animated film as part of a cinema snack.
Screenings of films and documentaries will be offered to schools, from elementary to high school.
The festival is not limited to film screenings. Various free activities open to all will enrich this week of festivities. Le Dépanneur will offer Quebec products, a literary meeting with Richard Vallerand and film criticism workshops to learn how to analyze and criticize films professionally.
