A little over a month ago, a sales representative from their operator Orange arranged for this octogenarian couple to take out a subscription to obtain fiber. Except that they are not eligible for fiber and even worse, their telephone line is immediately deleted.
By taking out an Orange fiber subscription and while the connection is made, the couple must normally keep their current subscription and therefore their telephone line, but nothing happened as required by Orange procedure.
The operator contacted by France Bleu Touraine explains that this is a human error, corrected since the beginning of the week.
A cut lasting a total of more than 10 days is worrying for the daughters of the octogenarian couple who denounce their parents' endangerment with a father who regularly suffers from strokes, which has forced the daughters of the couple to take turns every day at their parents' home in order to avoid a tragedy.
The family also protests against the abusive commercial canvassing techniques of the Orange company since at present, connecting the parents' house to fiber is impossible since there remain 700 meters of network to be built.
