This Saturday, November 2, two men were arrested by the Bressuire gendarmes (Deux-Sèvres) during the night. The police proceeded to check the contents of the safe. When they opened it, the soldiers discovered no less than eight 20 liter cans of diesel as well as all the equipment necessary to steal gasoline, indicated France Bleu.
The men were then arrested and taken into custody where they were questioned. During their interrogation, the two men admitted that they had stolen the fuel to a heavy goods vehicle which was parked in the town of Clazay (Deux-Sèvres).
Both men will be summoned to court
The two men admitted the facts with which they were accused and were released at the end of their police custody. They will have to answer for their actions before the courts in July 2025.
The owner of the stolen fuel recovered his diesel.
