fed up – The drivers and controllers of the M Tag network have decided to exercise their right of withdrawal following an attack

Following the attack on a controller this Tuesday morning in Échirolles (Isère), the drivers and controllers of the M TAG Grenoble network decided to exercise their right of withdrawal again this Wednesday. As indicated by our colleagues from Dauphiné Libéréno buses or trams are running this morning in Grenoble. Information confirmed by the FO, Unsa and Solidaires unions.

The incident which gave rise to this right of withdrawal occurred around 7 a.m. A controller was threatened with a handgun by an individual on a bicycle while he was verbalizing a passenger on the line 16 bus. After this attack, the staff decided not to return to work, citing reasons of security. A choice which was not followed by management, which will deduct wages for all those concerned.

Transportation severely disrupted

This Wednesday morning, the absence of public transport posed a problem for many users who wanted to go to work, school or any other activity. At this time, it has not been indicated whether this strike will continue or not.
