In 2019, the participation rate at 12:00 was 20.33%.


On June 9, 2024, the French are invited to elect their representatives to the European Parliament. An assembly that shapes our daily lives much more than it seems.

WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER :
  • You must be registered on the electoral lists before May 3, 2024 to be able to vote in the European elections. Check your registration !
  • Think of establish a power of attorney if you cannot travel on the big day.
  • The vote is played in a single round Sunday June 9 2024.

How to vote?

In France, for vote in the European electionsit’s necessary :
be French (or national of an EU Member State residing in France under certain conditions)

  • be at least aged 18 years old,
  • have his civil rights,
  • be registered on the lists electoral.

Good to know – Registration

French people who have recently reached the age of 18 are automatically registered on the electoral lists (provided they have first completed their citizen census with their town hall from the age of 16).
