Two firefighters will be questioned by the police on Thursday November 7 after entering the headquarters of the Lyon Metropolis on October 1.
On October 1, around forty striking firefighters carried out a raid by entering the Hôtel de Métropole in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon. As revealed Lyon Capitalthe situation on site had been particularly tense and damage had occurred.
Following this incident, the Métropole de Lyon and one of its agents who had received a five-day ITT under unclear conditions had filed a complaint. In a press release released Wednesday, November 6, the firefighters' unions indicate that two strikers were summoned Thursday, November 7 to the 3rd arrondissement police station in the context of these two complaints.
According to them, their entry into the Hôtel de Métropole was aimed at “to come to the aid of our colleagues mistreated inside by two individuals“. “We were together to enter to protect our colleagues and there was no violence“, continue the unions who will gather on Thursday at 12 p.m. in front of the SDMIS headquarters to go to the police station in a procession.
