A new fatal traffic accident occurred this Wednesday, November 6 in Ussac, near Brive. A young motorcyclist lost his life in a collision with a truck.
The Brive firefighters and gendarmerie intervened during the night, this Wednesday, November 6 in Ussac (Corrèze), for a serious traffic accident. On Avenue du Griffolet (RD 170), a 23-year-old motorcyclist, who was driving in the direction of Ussac, violently collided with a truck around 4 a.m.

The collision took place at the left rear of the truck which, according to initial information, was parked near a hotel. The area was covered in thick fog at the time of the accident.
Died at the scene of the accident
The 23-year-old man ultimately did not survive the violence of the shock. According to the gendarmerie, he died at the scene of the accident. An investigation has been opened to establish the precise circumstances of this fatal accident. Traffic was stopped while the findings were made.
This is the second death on motorized two-wheelers in Brive since the start of the year. According to the accident barometer, thirteen people lost their lives on the roads in Corrèze between January and September 2024.
