“Your problem is my problem”: an educational clip inspired by the favorite prize for communication professionals No to harassment 2024

Produced by students from Émile Guillaumin college in Moulins, the video winner of the No to Harassment 2024 communications professionals' favorite prize is made up of three harassment situations in which three different people come to offer their help to the victim.

The video presents the following three situations :

  1. As her mother comes to say goodnight, Jade receives insulting messages on her phone. Worried about his attitude, the mother suggests that he confide in him. Faced with her daughter's reluctance, she reassures her: whatever happens, they will face it together. When she understands that Jade is the victim of cyberharassment after the distribution of an intimate photo, she confirms it to him: they will find a solution, together.
  2. Yanis is challenged by his teacher at the end of Spanish class. The professor, seeing that something is troubling him, encourages him to speak. Yanis resists but ends up showing the drawing he was clutching in his fist: we see it in a trash can, with the words “Yanis the Tramp”. The teacher, understanding the seriousness of the situation, offers his help to get out of this situation of harassment.
  3. Finally, in the canteen, Lucas wanders around with his tray, uncomfortable, before being violently jostled by a 3rd grade student.espilling his entire tray on the floor. As he bends down to pick it up, another student slaps him on the head, calling him a “fat lump.” It is at this moment that Chloé, witnessing the scene, decides to intervene. At first suspicious, Lucas rejects her help, but faced with Chloé's sincerity, he finally agrees to discuss possible solutions to put an end to his ordeal.

Laëtitia Bertheuil is the screenwriter and director of this clip. Since 2016, she has written and produced annual awareness spots for the Ministry of National Education and Youth, in collaboration with the student winners of the jury of communication professionals for the No to Harassment prize.
