Several people died in the street last year in Essonne

The collective “Les Morts de la rue” communicates at the end of each year on the deaths of homeless people. The year 2023 marked a significant turning point since 735 homeless people lost their lives, which is 111 more than last year. Since 2012, the number of deaths has never been higher. Essonne is not spared. According to our information, the collective points to eight deaths of “homeless” people last year. One last statistic: the average age of death of the people listed is around 49 years old. That's almost thirty years younger than the general population.
