“This is the first time that we have carried out such an operation here,” underlines Nicolas Rivalan, mayor of Férel (Morbihan).
“I don't know if there will be a second one, because the conditions won't necessarily be right, but you never know! »
This involves the rehabilitation and extension of the Noë Blanche district, a housing estate dating from the 1980s.
As part of a rational development approach, elected officials, in consultation with residents, wish to encourage first-time homeownership and welcome new arrivals to boost children's and youth facilities and services.
The aging roads required repair, especially since they had never been renovated.
The green spaces, oversized and in poor condition, will be redeveloped.
“The trees removed were in pain and their roots were exposed,” explains Thierry Bosséno, municipal councilor.
From €58,800 to almost €108,000
Four plots of land are being offered for sale to finance the renovation, which began in May with the repair of the drinking water and wastewater networks by CapAtlantique La Baule-Guérande Agglo.
In September, work focused on roads and common areas. Their completion is scheduled for November.
The prices and selection criteria for the land were validated during the municipal council meeting on October 15, 2024.
The land is offered at €160/m² for lots 1 (553 m², €88,480) and 2 (674 m², €107,840), and at €140/m² for lots 3 (466 m², €65,240) and 4 (420 m², €58,800). Lots 3 and 4 should favor first-time buyers.
Candidates for purchasing a lot have until December 3, 2024 to submit their application.
They can collect the form at the town hall, online on leboncoin, the town hall website, Facebook or the My village application, and return it to the town hall or send it by sealed envelope (1 place de la Mairie 56 130 Férel).
The files will be analyzed and the selection validated during the municipal council of December 17, 2024.
The award criteria, with a points system, are based on seniority in the municipality, family composition and the age of the candidates, favoring those under 35 years old.
In the event of a tie, income will be taken into account.
For the first two lots, the same criteria apply, but the location of the candidates can be more extensive, with still a bonus for residents of Férel and a lesser degree for those living in CapAtlantique and neighboring intermunicipalities: Arc Sud Bretagne , Questembert, Saint-Nazaire Agglo and Pontchâteau-Saint-Gildas.
