On court number 1 of the Moselle Open, a French duel took place between Hugo Gaston and Titouan Droguet. He was the first to win 2 sets to 1.
The Lucky Loser Titouan Droguet more than held his own against his compatriot Hugo Gaston at the Moselle Open. The first set was played at Tie-Break, the second was won by Droguet, however, Gaston seriously won the match during the final set: 7-6 (8) / 4-6 / 6-3.
While Titouan Droguet had scored 16 aces, Hugo Gaston faced a player of the same age at an almost similar level. Toulouse's Gaston affirms that it was not an easy match, especially in a match against a player of the same nationality.
