A month to meet authors, participate in workshops, enjoy shows, attend screenings and chat with other parents. It’s the Read and Grow as a Family festival.
An inauguration day in Saint-Bonnet and Ancelle
This event, which has grown over time, is still incredibly successful. It is open to all generations, everyone finds their place and enjoys it and it is free. The opening of this 5e edition will take place at the Saint-Bonnet media library on Saturday November 9 from 9:30 a.m. and at Ancelle in the village hall at 3:30 p.m. With the show Ogma and the stories are there from the Cie Les Matagots to see with the family from 6 years old. The storytelling workshop open to parents and children “Create your story” will be held at 11 a.m. in Saint-Bonnet and at 5 p.m. in Ancelle. A space dedicated to the exchange of books and games will be set up in both places and an inauguration snack will be offered at 4:30 p.m. in Ancelle.
Then the activities will follow one another from Tuesday to Saturday, from media library to media library, including the La Draye association café. On the program: meetings with the author-illustrator of albums for young people Jérôme Ruillier, with Matthias Picard, the comic strip artist and with the author Jean-Michel Billioud. There will be shows for children and baby reader sessions for toddlers, stories for little ears and family games. A film aperitif debate will be aimed at teenagers with the screening of the film A little something extra at the Central cinema, Friday November 15 at 6:30 p.m. During the screening, parents will be welcomed at La Draye.
A special parents' film debate is planned for Saturday November 16 at the Chabottes media library at 4 p.m. Two films by Anne Jochum will be screened: The mirror of emotions et Siblings, between calm and storm. The debate will then be moderated by Carine Deal, consultant for the Creative Parenting network.
An aperitif discussion will be organized at the Ancelle media library on Thursday November 21 at 7 p.m. on learning and behavioral disorders. A special moment where all questions can be asked to professionals.
The closing show will take place in the Jean-Paul-Reynier hall, in Pont-du-Fossé, Saturday November 30 at 5 p.m.
