Two boys aged 1 and 4 were stabbed to death in Sainte-Rose this Tuesday around 3 a.m., found decapitated according to the police. A crime scene has been secured. The mother was initially placed in police custody, but was released for psychiatric incompatibility and hospitalized.
There was no first aid action by the firefighters. When they arrived on Route de le Boyer in Sainte-Rose after 3 a.m., the internal security forces present on site secured a crime scene. Two boys aged 1 and 4 were killed by stabbing. They would have been decapitated.
Information confirmed by Caroline Calbot, the Pointe-à-Pitre prosecutor. The mayor was also there.
The father was picked up on site by the Sainte-Rose emergency vehicle. The mother was apprehended by the gendarmes on the public highway in Bébel and brought home. Medically treated by the SMUR doctor due to her inconsistent comments, she was placed in police custody. Police custody finally lifted for psychiatric incompatibility. She had to be hospitalized.
An investigation has been opened. At this stage, we have no information on the exact course of events. The prosecution could communicate during the day.
