The victims, all very young and of Asian origin, are followed to isolated places, approached and attacked. This is the modus operandi of a man suspected of having attacked several teenage girls by filming them between 2013 and 2023 in the Pantin area (Seine-Saint-Denis) and its surroundings.
If the suspect has been arrested and imprisoned, the Territorial Security police officers seek to identify all of his victims. And in particular a young girl, filmed in 2013, and whose photo is the subject of a call for witnesses, distributed by the Paris police headquarters.
According to this call for witnesses, the victims were followed in building lobbies, stairwells or underground car parks. “The attacker, accusing them of theft, then pretexting this motive, imposes a pat-down on them, which continues with sexual assault, all while filming his victims,” describes the press release from the authorities.
The police are “seeking to identify” the young girl whose blurry photo is being distributed and “to identify the victims of such attacks”. Between 2013 and 2023, the period when the “North African type” man, who speaks without an accent, was active, the suspect was aged 25 to 35. The investigation is led by an investigating judge from Bobigny.
