Local elected officials and partners, around fifty people gathered on October 25 to inaugurate the new bioNGV station operated by Gaz Électrcité de Grenoble (GEG) in Apprieu, in Isère.
GEG continues to support the decarbonization of the territory. After having focused for a long time on Grenoble and its surroundings, the operator inaugurated its first station in the north of the department in Apprieu. An event celebrated on October 25 during an inauguration organized in the presence of numerous elected officials, including Dominique Pallier, mayor of Apprieu, and Roger Valtat, president of the Bièvre-Est community of communes, who had retained GEG following an appeal for expression of interest (AMI).
Four distribution channels
Ideally located in the Bièvre Dauphine III business park, on land belonging to the community of municipalities, the station accommodates all types of vehicles running on natural gas, from individual cars to utility vehicles and heavy goods vehicles.
Representing an investment of 1.9 million euros, the station is equipped with two double distributors compatible with CNG and bioGNC as well as four distribution tracks. Two fast charging tracks for electric vehicles, with a capacity of 100 kW, complete the equipment. On its gas part, the station was built by Mesure Process.
The sixth GNV station operated by the group, the Apprieu station is the first in Nord-Isère. In the department, another station will soon be opened in Pont-de-Claix, south of Grenoble.
