A family adventure
The former student of the Jean-Renou high school, aged 25 and currently in a master's degree in marketing and management in sport, works for more than two years on this project. And with family, please!
Frenchy Padel and Piscine de l’Atlantide: two closely linked projects
The Rouillon family carried out the padel room project in close collaboration with Piscine de l'Atlantide. Established on rue Gustave-Eiffel for almost 19 years, the famous swimming pool specialist in the Frimont area will move… to the other side of the street, on the land adjoining that of the future padel hall. “We are going to build a 330 m2 building, more functional, with an improved showroom as well as a larger part, reserved for storage,” reveals Sandrine Fortuna, the boss. Opening hoped for next February, before the start of the season.
In addition to Antonin Rouillon, there is also his brother, Sullivan, 22 years old, as well as the parents. Because the padel, at home, It’s truly a family affair.. “We discovered this discipline during a vacation in Spain… Like three-quarters of the French,” laughs Antonin. It was really what we needed to do an activity together! »
The whole Rouillon family mobilized for this padel room
From ? Well, the idea of creating a room, entirely dedicated to padel, germinated in the minds of the Rouillons, well aware potential and poolcurrently unexploited in the region.
Today, the quartet is on the verge of reaching their goal. “Carrying out this project as a family is really good,” says the eldest son. We brought together everyone’s strengths and skills to create this project.
“Our parents have their own plastering company in Bagas, my brother works as a project manager and site manager. I am more specialized in management and marketing. »
Frenchy Padel focuses on conviviality
Everything fits together perfectly. Behind this family synergyhides another essential element: conviviality.
“We don’t want people to simply come and ‘consume’ on site,” insists Antonin Rouillon. The idea is that you can come and see your friends or family play, while having a drink or eating something. We really want to create a place of meeting and sharing. »
Open Monday to Sunday
Frenchy Padel should eventually be open from Monday to Sunday; with a very wide range of hours. “Everything will be flexible depending on demand,” explains Antonin Rouillon. We will know how to adapt. »
In any case, from the opening, padel lessons, with a qualified trainerwill be offered. “We also want to create a padel school, just as there could be a football or rugby school, for the young people of Réolais”, adds the person concerned, eager to complete the “local sporting offer” and to organize , in particular, tournaments. This is called catching the ball.
Frenchy Padel, present on Facebook and Instagram, will open in the Frimont area, in La Réole, rue Amédée-Gordini. An application will allow you to make reservations. Price: €12.50 per person for 1h30 (4 people per pitch). Purchase and rental of equipment possible on site.
