the essential
The meeting of the office and the board of directors of the association revealed a renewed dynamism, bringing hope.

The first reason for satisfaction is the arrival of young people, young students in particular, who are now part of the office, the other of the Board of Directors. The young people consulted together and made various proposals which were validated (among others the project of creating a website and the presence on social networks. An exchange with the “Pélé VTT” organized by the diocese of was also proposed with the creation of a youth choir performing in churches during this event which brought together more than 200 people last summer.

Also, the young people having indicated that a new logo, reflecting the evolution of the association, was desirable, an internal competition was decided. Communication actions will be carried out to raise awareness of the association, its missions and its activities. The president, Guy Giraud-Morel, indicated that mayors, being the primary actors in maintaining religious heritage because they are both relays of opinion and owners, will be particularly informed. Exchange operations with other associations (SOS Calvaires, Pélé VTT, Heritage Foundation, etc.) were also mentioned.

Furthermore, the meeting made it possible to identify areas for improvement based on the actions of 2024. The two annual visits, which have been very successful, will be maintained and made more attractive, more accessible to families and young people. A multidisciplinary committee of varying ages will determine and implement the 2025 program, an already existing outline of the day. A photo library will be created thanks in particular to a young and new member, a student of History, especially in Gers religious art, and thanks to former members with several thousand photos. The treasurer, Régis le Marchand, having assured that the association has the means to achieve its ambitions, all that remains is to welcome and integrate new members.
