The investigations carried out by the health authorities have made it possible at this stage to rule out the hypotheses of food poisoning, contamination by the water fountain and carbon monoxide poisoning, writes the prefecture.
A survey carried out among families
The firefighters also did not detect the presence of chemicals, while the Regional Environment Directorate (Dreal) did not note any suspicious human or agricultural activity. The Atmo network, which monitors air quality, does not report any allergenic plant essences.
Research continues in particular through the installation of measuring devices by Atmo and a survey of the families and adults concerned, in order to establish an “epidemiological synthesis”.
The reopening of the school “will be decided after receipt of the results of the ongoing investigations”, underlines the prefecture.
