An eclectic journey
Born on December 4, 1958 in Yvelines, Paul Mourier is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and a Knight of the National Order of Merit.
His previous position since May 15, 2018 was Director General of Services of the Greater Paris Metropolis.
Previously he held the position of Director General of Regional Council Services.
Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur since January 11, 2016.
He was also Director General of Services of the Haute-Savoie General Council in 2013, and Interministerial Delegate for major sporting events since 2010.
Before that he was Prefect of Var (2007), Prefect of Cantal (2005), and Prefect of Lozère (2004).
It should be noted that at the start of his career, he was, in 1987, Administrative Director then Secretary General of the organizing committee for the Olympic Games.
