A man was attacked at his home by several armed suspects last September. Five people were identified and arrested by the police.

Five people were arrested by the police on Tuesday October 29, between and , in the context of an attack resulting from a rivalry around a point of sale of cigarettes and medicines. , BFM Paris learned from a source close to the matter.

The case began on September 20, when a resident of Épinay-sur-Seine was attacked at home by several people with masked faces and carrying knives. The victim was injured and transported in absolute emergency to the Delafontaine hospital in Seine-Saint-Denis.

However, the man survived after multiple surgeries, with 21 days of ITT. The attackers managed to escape.

Four suspects imprisoned

After several weeks of investigation, the police were able to identify several people suspected of being behind the attack.

Thanks in particular to extensive work on telephony, the police were able to shed light on the context of the attack. The victim and his brothers had a rivalry with the attackers concerning a point of sale of cigarettes and medicines around the Saint-Denis station.

Following their arrest, two people partially confessed to the alleged acts. Four individuals were ultimately incarcerated, a judicial source confirms to BFM Paris.
