Relaxation and idleness? Not really the daily life of Lionel Manceau. The inhabitant of Luitré-Dompierre (Ille-et-Vilaine) on the contrary, lives at a hundred miles an hour.

Renaud, Bigflo and Oli, Soldier Louis…

Farmer since 1997 in the town, he has managed with his partner a exploitation of one hundred organic dairy cows. A job that keeps him busy seven days a week. “The farmer doesn't count his hours,” says Lionel Manceau, estimating that the figure is around a hundred hours per week.

About ten years ago, when “the agricultural context was complicated”, he turned towards security profession. The reasons for this choice: “To have a financial plus and a change from everyday life”.

The breeder develops:

Apart from seeing cows and technicians, we don't see many people. There, we meet people. Security allowed me to see events.

As a service provider for several security companies, Lionel Manceau was in office during concertsat night guard level and at the front of the stage.

He was very close to Renaud at Liberty at of Jean-Baptiste Gueganof Soldier Louis or even Bigflo and Oli has Saint-Denis-de-Gastines at the Au Hay de la Rue festival.

He also worked during the rally of Lohéac and Jumping Dinard.

It's physically hard but it's still interesting at the same time.

Lionel Manceau is currently employed at Toa Sécurité, based in Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnonfor 25 hours per month on a permanent basis. “It’s enough for me too,” he remarks.

After having been a security guard at Roc Land, Byggvir and Castle, he worked nights at the Café de in Ferns Friday and Saturday evenings.

on mission : “Filter people” at the entrance level. When he combines his two jobs, his day is structured like this: 6 a.m. on the farm until 8 p.m., then shower and snack before working at the bar from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.

“Very nervous”

Back home for a few hours of sleep. Wake up at 5:30 a.m. and go back to the farm.

Sometimes it stings, but it's okay! There must not be an unforeseen event. Otherwise, it does.

And timetable very busy which forces him to deal with his life as a couple. “It impacts my private life a little but it allows us to do extras that we wouldn't be able to afford otherwise, but also to have extra retirement points.”

And in terms of health? “It’s hard,” he admits before being positive:

I like this rhythm. I'm super nervous and don't need a lot of sleep.

The list of his activities does not end there. In his spare time, Lionel Manceau also practiced ju-jitsu (black belt). He makes moto“a little hunting” but also danse“weekday evenings”, within the Luitrean association Kaz a sunlight dancing (bachata, zouk and kompa), which he chairs. “It allows you to slip away.” But not to rest!
