The Fouchard Fayat company, well known in the world of Normandy construction, will build its new headquarters closer to the main communication routes, still in the Channel. Good news for Saint-Lô, bad news for Coutances.

In Coutances, the Fouchard company is an entrepreneurial success such as Normandy was able to produce after the war. Founded in 1947 by a plumber, the company now handles large climate engineering projects in Normandy. Let us cite the Rives de l'Orne district in 2011 or the new CHU in Caen.
Bought in 2019 by Fayat, number four in construction in France, Fouchard should no longer be a Coutançaise company in two years. The Saint-Lô Agglo community office must validate the sale of land for its benefit on its agenda, this Monday, November 4, 2024.
