The second edition of the Forum health was held on Saturday October 19, at the gymnasium of the Charles-Grimaud sports complex, in Montmagny (Val-d'Oise).

Divers workshops were proposed, in order to raise public awareness on issues of health essential, such as cancerlikely to affect, one day or another, anyone.

These are some of the themes which have allowed both a simplified approach to more or less serious illnesses or infections, but also and above all to address, with serenity, the question of illness in general and the question of care, in particular. , which go first and foremost through screening.

And it is not by chance that the emphasis was placed on the cancer be you.

The cancer breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women.

In the majority of cases, its development takes several months or even several years. Detected early, it is a cancer with a good prognosis, whose survival rate remains stable (88% of women diagnosed).

A symbolic march

The march against cancer adopted a symbolic form, which started and ended at the Charles-Guiraud stadium, in the form of several laps on the athletic track, all dressed in t-shirts roses and a ribbon.

A nod also to the communication campaign Pink October which is held every year for one month, in particular to raise funds for research.

It is also reassuring by breaking the leaden blanket that surrounds all the illnesses that we are afraid to talk about, including this one in particular.

” In talkit is already beginning a path towards healing,” she concludes, on a note of encouragement and hope.

This year, the funds raised will be redistributed to the league against cancer.
