New driving regulations for motorists

Rising expenses to see
Motorists who drive certain types of car could have additional expenses starting this November. This is particularly the case of electric vehicles that come from China. This new regulation applies throughout Europe, including France where the tax is increasing. Rates vary depending on the subsidies available to manufacturers.
For the SAIC group for example, the surcharge will be 35.3%. Enough to discourage motorists who want to acquire this type of car. For manufacturers Geely and BYD, the tax is 18.8% and 17% respectively. The least significant will be 7.8% for Gigafactory cars. This measure, however, continues to be debated among other European countries.
From this month of November, motorists should also expect a purchase restriction for fuel. The departments of Sarthe and Alpes-Maritimes in particular do not authorize retail purchases. A measure which serves to maintain stocks and avoid inconveniences during the celebration of Halloween.
Other measures for motorists
From November 15, motorists will see a traffic disruption. This is due to the mobilizations of farmers' unions. Drivers must therefore be careful not to suffer from this in the weeks to come!
