Clairvaux-d’Aveyron. The Gastadous of Usep celebrate their 10th anniversary

Last week, the Clairvaux village hall hosted a festive evening in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Gastadous de l'Usep leisure center. Nearly 250 people, including children, parents, elected officials, teachers, facilitators, former students and employees, gathered to celebrate this decade of conviviality and commitment. The evening began with a warm welcome, followed by a moving speech from the director of the center, who recalled the importance of this structure for the community.

In ten years, the Gastadous leisure center has established itself as an essential living space, offering children enriching activities and promoting links between families. The festivities were hosted by Liberty kids, whose performances lit up the room. Children and adults were drawn into a joyful atmosphere, punctuated by laughter, dancing and singing. This evening was also an opportunity to highlight the hard work of the facilitators who, every day, contribute to the development of children.

Their commitment was praised by the elected officials present, who expressed their continued support for the development of the center. The 10th anniversary of the Gastadous Leisure Center is not only a celebration of the past, but also a promise of the future. The progress made in a decade demonstrates a strong collective commitment.

This is how they all came together to continue writing together the beautiful pages of the history of the Gastadous Leisure Center. The Gastadous, which means “spoiled children” in Occitan, were born in 2014 from the work and will of the two municipalities (Clairvaux-Bruéjouls and Balsac), the parents of the students and the teaching teams.

This project allows children to benefit from a leisure center with varied activities during after-school and extra-curricular times (Wednesdays and holidays), children's municipal council, stays, baby sports, youth area).
